# eth\_getBlockTransactionCountByHash

**Returns the number of transactions in a block from a block matching the given block hash.**

**Parameters**

`DATA`, 32 Bytes - hash of a block <mark style="color:red;">REQUIRED</mark>

**Returns**

`QUANTITY` - integer of the number of transactions in this block.
